What I do
I am a "SCADA Specialist" at my day job. That means I work with industrial controls, computer administration, network administration, low voltage electrical, security and a few other things.
PLC Programming
18 years experience programming PLC's to provide control for industrial processses. Mostly Municipal water and wastewater. Primarily with to Rockwell and Modicon line of products
Security
Experience working with organization IT to impliment security measure to protect SCADA systems.
HMI Programming
19 Years of experience programming HMI's. Primarily in Intouch, FactoryTalk View, and Ignition. Same time spent configuring desktops and server for use with these systems, network configuration to integrate into the system, and integration of historical/database systems.
Radio Systems
18 Years experience surveying, planning, configuring, and deploying radio networs for use in SCADA system communications.
Custom integration solutions
I have created custom applications to allow specific functionality from SCADA products that did not have existing solutions.
Support/Diagnostics
I have provide on site support for SCADA systems including low voltage control signal troubleshooting, PLC trouble shooting, network troubleshooting, Desktop and server troubleshooting, and radio network troubleshooting
